Team members are always available to support our clients' project teams in assessing the condition of new and used product stored in the warehouse and identifying opportunities to extend product life through reconfiguration and reconditioning.

At the client's request, our inventory management team will perform inventories and condition assessments of furniture and other workplace product that may be in use at client sites or stored in our warehouse or in the client's facilities and then create databases to support furniture project planning as well as reconfiguration, relocation and liquidation planning.

A Strong Technology Component

Our information technology for asset management is a custom database system called AssetWorks. A robust application for storage, search and retrieval of information and digital images describing furniture and other workplace products, AssetWorks enables us to turn such items into trackable "assets" that can be relocated, reconfigured, refurbished and re-purposed to the owner's financial and operational benefit.

Using AssetWorks, our inventory management team can provide ISI clients with a variety of standard reports to support furniture project planning and decision making about furniture procurement, storage, redeployment and disposal. We can also provide the programming needed to generate custom reports to client specifications.

Evolving Toward Online Convenience

As our AssetWorks system evolves, we want to extend it to the Web, equipping ISI clients with a secure online interface that will provide many of the same reporting and analysis capabilities currently used every day by our inventory management specialists and account teams. Those future benefits are likely to include capabilities to review multiple inventories; check product condition and location; reserve product for upcoming projects; check receiving, pull and delivery status; review freight claims; and prepare for decisions about disposal, liquidation and re-use.
